As per the liga.net portal information, Firefly stopped existing in 2017 because it went bankrupt. This led to the end of government orders and research in the rocket launching sector. Most people gave up on it but Max Polyakov did not feel discouraged at all because he even bought the company and set up new standards.

Max brought back all Firefly employees who had been dismissed and by the end of this year, he is hoping to launch Alpha rocket. Analyzing this rocket was very promising and Max Polyakov decided to launch rockets for small satellites. To gain more customers, the same instruction which had all the information was issued about creative rockets designed by CEO Markusik.

The objective of Max is to come up with affordable rockets which are capable of putting medium and small satellites into orbit. His initiative entails an affordable price for the launches which will be at most ten thousand dollars against the current 40,000 per kilogram of payload. During the previous years, similar satellites occupying eighty percent of that have been launched to orbit. And with the help of analysts, Firefly was able to determine the cost and plan the designing of such rockets.

How the rocket situation came about

All through the space races between big states period, emphasis was put on adding the carrying space of new rockets. In line with that process, the satellite sizes were reduced making it costly and non-profiting to put them into space separately. So, they were always taken to orbit as extra loads when a big rocket was created. Max Polyakov together with Tom Markusik managed to get the best solution especially since with the company’s existence they would be able to display a minimum of 4 satellites per year. There are also plans to have 2 launches each month.

The aim of Firefly Aerospace is to increase opportunities for those putting satellites into orbit and make space more accessible for other organizations to complete their projects. Organizations used to have a difficult time because they were unable to launch their satellites into orbit. Because of this, Firefly has organized to analyze the launching of Alpha rocket before the year ends. Also by 2021, they are hoping to launch 2 rockets each month.

Max Polyakov doesn’t abandon the developments of any projects. He always ensures to finish every contract and expands activities in the space industry. He has even acquired several American government contracts and he is planning to work with private organizations. He intends to launch satellite probes into orbit for his branch.

Firefly Aerospace might also work with the US Air Force. This is a great idea but it has not been confirmed yet since there is no corresponding possibility in the American legislation. But besides all that Max intends to do, he also has plans which will greatly improve the space industry. Most of those plans have actually been launched in his new projects.
